What is Cromwell STREAT?
STREAT has been given an extraordinary opportunity to develop a major youth training academy in the heart of Collingwood on the site of a former brothel – Cromwell Manor.
The new location will triple our youth intake capacity to 260 per annum and allow us to reach full financial sustainability within 2 years – but we can’t make it happen without you!
We need your help...
It all started in September 2012 when Mr. Deyrick Upton of Bread Solutions (now our bakery partner) contacted us to see if he could help. We decided to open an artisan bakery together and to co-locate it with an expanded coffee roastery.
The story continued later in 2012 when Mr. Geoff Harris (now our location partner) contacted us to see if he could help – resulting in the search for, and purchase of, our unique Collingwood location.
Having a lovely old manor house, a leafy 1100 m2 block in Collingwood, council approval, and a brilliant set of designs by renowned architects Six Degrees is an amazing start – but to complete the project we need your help to raise the funding required to redevelop the site.
How can you help?
Invest... donate... buy...
As a social enterprise we ask people to do business with us. Visit our cafes, order our catering, and purchase our coffee for your cafe, home or office.
With the acquisition of Cromwell Manor there is another way you can get involved right now:

If you are interested in getting behind our Cromwell dream, we really need to raise $1m in fundraising and philanthropy and secure $2m in debt from impact investment.
