Flemington cafe

STREAT opened the doors to our lovely local eatery in late April, 2012 - a coffee roastery and cafe in Flemington. We're so pleased to give full reign to our chef, Rob Auger, and the trainees in the kitchen with a full breakfast and lunch menu.

The food and vibe at STREAT Flemington is contemporary; it’s relaxed and warm and professional and spiced with local and international flavours and art of the street.

Rob develops interesting and balanced dishes based around his current favourite produce and ingredients or perhaps to satisfy a taste craving from his globetrotting past.

Fans of the previous menu need not worry, as old favourites remain, such as the baked eggs with hash brown, cherry tomatoes, olives, Spanish onion and basil with a toasted pide.

STREAT was able to purchase the cafe in Flemington (from the Social Roasting Company) through a unique social equity investment partnership. STREAT supports and trains its young people across a six-month program and then helps them get jobs in the hospitality industry.
