Words just don’t convey how much we appreciate the incredible support and contribution the following wonderful individuals and organisations have made – without them STREAT would not exist.

The TK Foundation

Our beloved very first funders! Our co-founders Bec & Kate can still remember the 6am phone call in November 2008 from Denmark to say the Trustees had agreed to fund STREAT’s start-up. In late 2014 the TK Foundation made another very significant contribution – to help our huge Cromwell Street building development become a reality. We’re forever grateful for their belief in what we wanted to achieve and for kick-starting our journey.

Mr Geoff Harris

Geoff first engaged with STREAT in December 2012, and is now one of our key business mentors and a passionate advocate for social enterprise. He is also a very generous annual donor and major impact investor with STREAT. In 2013 Geoff purchased Cromwell Manor in Collingwood for $2.5m and gifted its use to STREAT for the next 50 years.

The highlights of Geoff’s extremely successful business career included being: a founding partner of Flight Centre, now the third largest retailer in Australia with 17,000 staff across 10 countries; a co-director and major shareholder of Boost Juice, now 270 shops globally; a co-director and shareholder in Top Deck Travel Company UK. Geoff is also a director and major shareholder of FONDA a fast casual dining restaurant chain in Melbourne with 4 outlets.
